Assalamualaikum, how are my brothers and sisters?

Alhamdulillah, my mother and child are safe. My father was kidnapped by the colonists, my husband didn’t know how he was because he was still in the north, hopefully we can go back there again.

Last night we considered it like a day of qiamat when we sat on top of each other, I pray that you will not go through what we went through last night. Dying was always in front of my eyes and I repeatedly pleaded with the colonial soldiers, just take our lives so that we would not continue to suffer punishment.

They put women in schools and men in open spaces and were surrounded by men with sand fortifications. We could only hear screams, and the sound of their pain writhed and tortured. The women at the school screamed with all their hearts calling out the names of their sons and husbands who were being torn. At the same time the tanks detonated shells at us, followed by drone and sniper fire.

Then the tanks escorted us to the first blockade while terrifying shots were fired above our heads, the occupying soldiers also did not stop insulting and insulting us with all kinds of insults. They scared us and said, say goodbye to your husband, you will never see your husband again. Say goodbye to the north of Gaza, the north of Gaza is ours. And they curse the Arab countries, they say hah cry, cry, which Muslims want to help you? Everything is in our pockets.

Then we were taken to a second blockade in a large pit surrounded by sandbars and surrounding tanks, while snipers were on guard in the buildings around the hole. The colonial army was in our crevices, shooting frighteningly at us and hitting us with their weapons. The tanks were moving back and forth until the thick smoke and sand flew in made us suffocated and unable to see anything in front of us. My mother and my son were buried under the sand and I dug in the sand with both hands even though I didn’t see anything to make sure they didn’t die alive.

Then we were taken to the third blockade where we were stretched, there was not a thread on our body.

Every inch of our bodies, hair and clothes were searched and touched for no apparent purpose by their infantry troops. We walked and saw all forms of torture without anyone asking about us, from 6 am to 4 pm no one saw what happened to us.

To say we live again after death is too small to describe what we went through, if we were killed it would be more glorious for us. I was ashamed of myself, how they managed to get us out of the north of Gaza, where I stayed for a year and one month, I was determined not to leave it but they managed to get us out in the end.

The story was shared with us by one of the CGM team members yesterday. It is imperative that we share this story as widely as possible as a trust from our team members and all the people of Jabalia and G who are still facing murder and siege until now.

May Allah forgive us.
